Forex Market is known as the most liquid.
But how big is it, exactly?
According to the survey released by the Bank for International Settlements, daily volumes on the Foreign Exchange market reached a whopping $6.6 Trillion.
Analyst Wolf Richter recently published an interesting article with the breakdown and analysis of the FX market.
The figure below shows that the USD clearly dominates the Forex market, accounting for over 88% of the total volume.
On average, the daily volume of the trades with USD on one side was $5.82 trillion. The volume almost doubled since the latest financial crisis.
