The Forex Trading Simulator is a Windows software to practice Forex trading.
The tool simulates the real trading environment meticulously, because it
- uses real market data – tick-by-tick
- shows each tick according to its timestamp – with accuracy up to 1ms

The market data for the Simulator is absolutely FREE. You can use
- high quality, real tradable interbank quotes
- for back testing, 15 main currrency pairs since 2009
- real-time live feed for 10 main pairs.
The Simulator supports market, stop-loss and take profit orders.
In back testing mode, you can pause your simulation and resume it later. So you can use your time very efficiently, making breaks whenever needed.
Another handy feature is variable data feed speed. It also saves your time. So, when the market is moving slowly, you can accelerate the data flow using fast forward mode (2X/4X/Max). The time intervals between ticks are reduced proportionally.
When the market, on the contrary, is moving too fast, you can use slow mode (up to 1/4X). This is useful to practice e.g. news trading.
Trading servers can’t respond immediately. There is always some delay involved. To practice this, you can configure variable trading server delay. Which is generated randomly between min and max value.
As you see, this is already a very solid set of features for practicing.
But it’s not all – our development is ongoing. The new features coming up in the next releases:

Timeshift is similar to the same function in high-end DVRs. With it, you can enjoy pause/resume feature during a real-time simulation. This helps you use your time very efficiently.
Just a simple example. Imagine that you are practing at the airport while waiting for your flight. You don’t want to waste time, right? But when your boarding begins, you got distracted.
Here is where you use timeshift. You pause your practice – not stop it! You keep your Internet connection active, and Simulator continues receiving the market data. So later, during the flight, you can resume your practice any time.
During the timeshift, the market data is collected by the tick data recorder. Of course, it’s not only used for timeshift. You can use it e.g. to record a trading session while you are at work during daytime. And then use the recording and practice on it while commuting home.
With trade recorder/player, you can save your practice and analyze it later.
In multiuser mode, you can practice together with your friends. You can even have a trading contest, which makes practicing fun. Here, one of the Simulators becomes a trading server for a group of people so that all would have the same market data.
Automated trader is similar to the multiuser mode, but here you can compete with an inbuilt automated trading strategy. Or record how this strategy works.
