What I would like to see it is more strategy test files which would give us possibility to test out from different angles and be able to experiment more.
And above all, make some video tutorial and place them on YouTube.
They should show to set up and use your software which looks very promising.
I am new in C programming and need as much help as possible about C environment while programming and later on while testing it on the simulator.
And video tutorials is in my opinion, the best way to make it easier to learn
Hello Ivan,
Many thanks for the feedback!. We couldn’t agree more. In fact, we’ve even started a separate site (www.forextradingstrategieslab.com) exactly with this in mind.
We will direct resources there once we are done finalizing the development of the essential testing functionality. Video guides will be of a clear priority, too.
Hi Developers,
Thanks, your products quite useful, especially for training ourselves. The most interested feature from my side is the offline modelling. I was looking for Android test app originally, but there are only games and far from reality. I have only one consideration that might missing from your simulator. That is placing order in advance and at a certain price level. My stategy basics on that method so it would be important for me. Maybe I miss that option and it is existing. Could you please having any idea for simulate that function? Thanks. Istvan.
Hello Istvan,
What you are looking for are pending orders. They will be supported soon. Stay tuned!
I’ve not used this, but I have two features that I’d like to see if they’re not already available.
The ability to test on a demo account.
The ability to test with historical data while blocking the view of the outcome. This way you can enter a week behind for example and test based on what has actually happened in the market.
Thanks Carlos,
For back testing, the Simulator works exactly as you want. You can start the data feed from a given point in the past and test from there. You won’t be able to “peep” into the future market development. But, you can speed up the data feed so that you can “fast forward” the pieces of slow market action.
What comes to testing on demo – what would be the use case for that? We have inbuilt live data feed for real-time testing.
